At 1000 lumens this works just like any other flood light, with one big difference, you can jump to 12,000 lumen turbo by holding the tailswitch. Release, and it drops back down to 1000 lumens.
Combined with the 18w quick charge, its gets you from zero to full in 1.5 hours. This means less charging time and more operational readiness. A similar flood light, say a P20iX, that needs around 4 hours to charge.
The OLED shows you exactly how much runtime you have left at any brightness level so you know when to switch out and recharge.
We wouldn't recommend it for long ops, due to it's built-in battery nature, but for short ops, tasks and raids, it's high lumen burst will come in useful when used sparingly.
